Joshua Mosios is a DC-licensed attorney who began a legal career gaining significant experience in government and corporate compliance, privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity law and policy, administrative law, government operations, and federal government contracting.

As a Virginia and DC private practice attorney, Joshua has handled cases involving corporate litigation and counseling, compliance assessments, contract review and drafting, life planning (including wills, trusts, estate administration, and elder care), domestic relations (such as divorce, custody, support, and protective orders), consumer protection litigation, civil litigation, criminal defense, guardianship, landlord-tenant litigation, real estate litigation and transactions, traffic matters, and patient advocacy.

Joshua Mosios is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia and District of Columbia, earning his Bachelor of Science from Temple University and Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. After law school, Joshua spent almost five years as a consultant supporting the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). At USAID, Joshua automated and optimized outdated agency business processes and administered large intra-agency contracts. At CDC, Joshua served as legal advisor to the Chief Privacy Officer, which required maintaining operational compliance with key privacy laws and providing enterprise-wide training and guidance. After serving as a consultant, Joshua became the General Counsel for a small Maryland corporation, which provides scientific expertise to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). As General Counsel, Joshua was responsible for maintaining operational and policy compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), managing audit responses, internal investigations, insurance claims, and outside counsel, leading white glove reviews, and counseling corporate management and ownership in changes to federal and state laws. Most recently, Joshua has owned and operated Athenos Compliance Advisors LLC, the naming of which is a nod to his Greek heritage and the goddess of wisdom, Athena. Joshua is recently married, and the couple, along with their two dogs, are expecting their first child. In his spare time, Joshua is an avid baseball fan and has managed his local 13-14 year old little league team since 2023.
